Rapid Mixer Granulator (RMG) is a high-performance, multifunctional machine used for efficient and homogenous mixing, wet granulation, and drying of powders and granules. It is designed to achieve rapid and thorough mixing of dry and wet components, ensuring consistent blend uniformity. This efficiency leads to shorter processing times and higher productivity. It offers:
This is the primary container where the mixing and granulation processes take place. It is usually made of stainless steel and comes in various sizes to accommodate different batch sizes.
Impellers are fixed at the bottom of a dome-shaped stainless-steel bowl. These impellers break up the wet mass into small pieces and granules. It is responsible for the rapid and uniform blending of dry and wet materials within the mixing bowl. It rotates at a high speed to achieve efficient mixing.
The chopper or granulator blade is designed to break down agglomerates and further reduce the size of materials during the granulation process. Its primary function is to cut the lumps into smaller fragments and works in conjunction with the mixing impeller.
The control panel provides operators with the ability to set and monitor various parameters, such as mixing speed, granulation time, and temperature. It allows for precise control of the RMG’s operation.
Once the mixing and granulation processes are complete, the discharge port or valve allows for the controlled release of the granulated material from the mixing bowl. This port can be fitted with a discharge chute to direct the material into containers.
